Bo Taoshi is a traditional Japanese competitive sport that involves two teams of 150 players each. The teams try to knock down the opponent's pole by pulling it down while simultaneously trying to defend their own pole. The game usually lasts for about 20 minutes, and the team that successfully knocks down the opponent's pole or secures a higher position on the pole wins the game. Bo Taoshi is often played by the Japanese military as part of their training exercises. It requires a lot of physical strength, coordination, and teamwork. A variation of this game called Kyūdō Taishi is also played in Japan, which involves only 75 players in each team.
